LVMH acquires ArteCad, one of its main suppliers of Swiss watch dials

This transaction will enable LVMH to further reinforce its industrial integration in watch-making and guarantee its independence in the strategic area of watch dials. LVMH already produces mechanical movements as well as cases, dials and bracelets. Founded in 1885, ArteCad SA today has 215 employees working in its main facility located at Tramelan (Switzerland). It manufactures more than 350,000 watch dials a year and supplies LVMH brands as well as numerous other prestigious Swiss timepieces manufacturers amongst its clients, all of whom it will continue to serve with the same diligence. ArteCad is known for its integrated expertise across all dials manufacturing processes, for its unique innovation capability as well as its rapid prototyping. Since 2004, ArteCad has been owned and managed by Mr. Philippe Hubbard and Mr. Christophe Gouthier, who have successfully overseen the company’s development through its modernisation and expansion of its prestigious client base. Mr. Hubbard and Mr. Gouthier will continue to serve as co-directors of ArteCad SA.
