Media Specialist

The position is responsible for building and maintaining a positive image for RIMOWA through all media channels. You will oversee creating an integrated media strategy to increase brand awareness and brand desirability. To be successful in this role, you will need a deep understanding of various media channels (print, digital, social) and strategic vision in terms of planning with the brand goals in mind. You will report to Marketing & Communication Director.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with HQ marketing calendar (product and campaign) and create strategic media plan together with agency.
  • Analyze results of product and brand campaigns efforts, as well as prepare required reports to stakeholders.
  • Plan and organize media campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
  • Lead and actively propose new innovative media opportunities.
  • Prepare and localize campaign related creative assets.
  • Translation of relevant campaign copies as part of localization.
  • Optimize and analyze campaign performance.
  • Drive appropriate actions for LINE / owned social media to increase followers.
  • Updating, and maintaining organic contents on owned social media

Requirements

  • Background in advertising for at least 2 years, agency background a plus.
  • Written and verbal communication skills both Japanese and English
  • Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills.
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner.
  • Understanding of social media and solid experience working with the agency
  • Responds well under pressure with strict time limit.
  • Ability to work on big strategy plans as well as day-to-day tasks.
  • Project and budget management skills.
