Appointment

Alexandre de Lur Saluces, Chairman of Château d’Yquem, is delighted to announce the arrival of Aymeric de Montault as Managing Director of the company, with effect from 1st October 2002. Aymeric de Montault held a number of positions within the French distribution network of Veuve Clicquot from 1982, including the posts of Director of Champadis, Sales Director and then Managing Director of Champagne et Spiritueux Associés. Since 1995, he has been Managing Director of Canard-Duchêne Champagne and has also been Director of Wines for the Veuve Clicquot Group since two years ago. Aged 52, Aymeric de Montault has a degree in Law and Economics. Alexandre de Lur Saluces commented: “The team at Château d’Yquem is delighted to welcome Aymeric de Montault and it will benefit from the experience he has acquired in developing brands both in France and abroad.” Château d’Yquem is majority-controlled by LVMH.
